A hard, durable, crystal clear, fast-drying lacquer for multi-surface protection.
This high-quality lacquer dries to a hard, crystal clear dead flat, satin or high gloss finish. It has extremely good sanding properties and is specially formulated to bond to a wide range of surfaces. It can also be used as a multi-surface primer and is relied upon by professional and amateur decorators for its durability and ease of use.
Polyvine’s Multi-Surface Lacquer is available in high gloss for a shiny finish, satin for depth and a soft sheen, or dead flat for a completely shine-free surface.
preparation
All surfaces must be clean and free from dust, dirt, oil and contamination.
Application
- Ensure the product is well mixed, but do not shake.
- Use a good quality synthetic varnish brush and apply evenly using light brushstrokes.
- Apply the first coat to prime porous surfaces, dilute with 10% water. and allow to dry. Then, apply one or two further coats.
- It can also be used as a multi-surface primer.
Caution
- Always apply to a test area before starting work.
- Do not apply over uncured, oil-based paint.
- When applied over emulsion/latex paint, it is possible that the lacquer could draw certain stains through the paint, which would not otherwise be visible.
Storage
Protect from extremes of temperature during storage and application.

- Non-hazardous. Ensure good ventilation.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Contact with eyes – wash immediately with warm water.
- Remove excess from tools and mixing vessels before washing in warm soapy water.
- Do not empty into drains or watercourses.
