Decorative Storage Crate Workshop

Location: Ninnys Napkins inside of the Everett Emporium, 6078 County Road 13, Everett, ON

Create a beautiful rustic décor piece in our Decorative Storage Crate Workshop! In this hands-on class, you’ll transform a wooden crate using layered paints, rice papers, and textured embossing paste, then finish it with distressed details and embellishments.

You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind spring crate ready to display or use for decorative storage.

Additional Information:

• What to Bring: All supplies are provided—just wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little paint on.
• Refreshments: Coffee/water/tea and light snacks will be available to keep you fueled and inspired. Welcome to bring your own (non alcoholic) beverages and snacks as well. For the dates that span over lunch we'll have a 30 minute intermission. Bring a lunch or pizza is available around the corner for $5 a (big) slice.

• How to properly apply rice paper for a smooth, wrinkle-free finish

• Blending and layering paint techniques for soft spring backgrounds

• How to use embossing paste to create raised texture and dimension

• Distressing techniques for a rustic, vintage-inspired look

• Proper sealing and finishing methods for durability

• How to balance embellishments and final details for a cohesive design
